My Story

Anike’s passion for physiotherapy started while working through her own injuries during her university sports career and it grew even stronger when she was training to represent Lithuania in snowboard cross at the Olympics. After finishing her sports career, she decided to study physiotherapy so she could help others get back to what they loved doing. This led her to complete a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from the Lithuanian Sports University in 2019.

Since then, Anike has already successfully treated patients with ages reaching 103 years old with orthopaedic conditions ranging from sudden onset to chronic aches, sports injuries, and pre-/post-operative rehabilitation.

She always takes the time to explain the cause of patient’s injuries and conditions so that they can properly understand their own bodies and healing process. This has improved clients’ recoveries as they understand her treatment plan as well as the chosen therapy which has led to quicker rehabilitation. Anike strongly believes that a combination of manual therapy, exercise, and education are essential in helping empower patients to achieve their highest level of function possible.

Outside of the clinic, Anike loves to strength train in order for her to perform better when playing in her year-round sports leagues (Hockey, Softball, Beach Volleyball, and Dodgeball) and she loves to travelling, whether somewhere new or to see her family and friends.
