Paola Finizio

Physiothérapeute

Paola Finizio is a Registered Physiotherapist who has been interested in injuries and rehabilitation for many years ever since she was a young Gymnast. Her passion for recovery came from her personal experience with injuries as well as being a Gymnastics Coach and learning from a young age the impact of injuries on performance. She graduated in 2019 from Western University where she obtained a BA with Honors Specialization in Kinesiology. At Western, Paola was involved in many committees' including Concussion Awareness to assist in spreading awareness of concussions and new research, Motionball for Special Olympics Canada to increase integration of individuals with special needs, and Exercise is Medicine which aimed to promote physical activity as a method of chronic disease prevention to improve the health of Canadians.


Paola then attended Queen’s University where she obtained her Master of Science in Physical Therapy. During her master’s degree, she gained experience in neurological and sports medicine injuries. Paola gradated in 2021 and has since gained experience working with patients with a variety of musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, post-operative patients, injury prevention and sports medicine.


Outside the clinic Paola leads an active lifestyle with Running, Pilates and Strength Training being her mains form of exercise, she enjoys helping patients through an active recovery and educating them on physical activity's role in pain reduction. Paola is passionate about pain science education and helping patients understand the root cause of their pain. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of rehabilitation and ensuring patients have the answers to their questions. Her treatments include guiding patients through tailored treatment plans with various manual therapy techniques and exercise programs tailored to each individual patient.


Paola is committed to helping all her patients achieve optimal recovery to return to their daily activities and providing patients with ample education to promote self-management.
