Tamami Ayoub, physiotherapist – Specializing in orthopedics and pelvic rehabilitation
Tamami Ayoub is a graduate of McGill University, through the extension program offered at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC). A member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ), she is passionate about musculoskeletal and pelvic health.
From the beginning of her career, Tamami specialized in orthopedic physiotherapy. She supports a diverse clientele struggling with chronic pain, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Her practice is based on rigorous assessment, individualized treatment plans, and an approach focused on each patient's unique needs. She is also trained to prescribe X-rays when necessary, as part of her clinical assessment.
Her interest in physiotherapy developed in part through her own experience as an athlete. Throughout her academic career, Tamami was a member of sports teams in basketball, volleyball, and running. This involvement gave her a deeper understanding of the realities of sport, injury mechanisms, and the importance of a safe return to physical activity, which she now incorporates into her professional practice.
Eager to provide comprehensive support, she has also completed training in perineal and pelvic rehabilitation. She works with women and the LGBTQIA2S+ community to address issues such as incontinence, dyspareunia, as well as prenatal and postnatal disorders. Empathetic and attentive, Tamami creates a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment to address these often delicate issues.
Always striving for excellence, she regularly participates in advanced training to stay at the forefront of best practices in physiotherapy. She values interdisciplinary collaboration and deeply believes in therapeutic education as a lever for empowerment for her patients.
